For the first time, Zombie Motors is offering a complete, drop-in 2.8L replacement for your classic Land Rover. No need to pay extra thousands of dollars to shoehorn in a Cummins ‘crate engine’, wire in a Td5, or try to overboost your 300tdi and go through head gaskets or cylinder heads prematurely.

For most Land Rover owners here in the USA, we have only heard rumors and whispers about the 2.8L Brazilian ‘Baby Powerstroke’ that S. American Land Rover Defenders were fitted with. A stock 300tdi has 112 Horsepower and 198 foot pounds of torque, and the 2.8L has 135 HP and 277 foot pounds of torque when built with the correct VGT turbocharger. This set-up is unique in the USA to only the Zombie Motors build on the 2.8 Land Rover 300tdi.

Our engine is a couple of thousand dollars less than the one you may see for sale at the Rover parts place up North. And as an added bonus, if you ever have a warranty issue, these engines are built right here in Eugene Oregon, USA, so you won’t be told to take your problems and work them out with a builder overseas in the United Kingdom.

The cost for a complete rebuilt engine, ready to run, totally dressed with rebuilt injection pump, injectors, alternator, starter motor, new clutch is $15900. We do offer a $1500 credit if you return your rebuildable 200tdi or 300tdi engine.

Complete conversion packages start at $16900 to replace your V8 gasoline engine, and include a complete 2.8L engine as well as a new radiator/intercooler, all new oil cooler hoses and coolant hoses, intercooler pipes, and hoses to connect to factory air cleaner locations.
