E.D.P. - ELECTRONICS DEVICES POWER SRL

Funded in 1980, E. D. P. SRL is first-in-the-line for the designing, manufacturing and marketing of electric power control and conversion devices and it presently has three lines of production:

• Power electronics, with a production range that includes safety isolating transformers, power stabilisers, power supply filters and UPS systems with highly functional features and excellent reliability;

• Electronics for lifts, with particular regard for devices that bring the lift cabin back to floor level automatically in the event of breakdown or power blackouts on the main power plant;

• Infrared imaging cameras, with a product specifically designed for medical use, of high quality and reliability.

Regarding power electronics, as a small-to-medium firm we have always specialised in medium-power devices, both single-phase and three-phase (from 3 to 20 kVA), with a limited presence also on the market for low-power devices (typically used upstream from PCs) notably inflated by the large number of often low-quality products available in this segment of the market. In the sector of medium-power devices, typically used in structures such as hospitals, medium-sized businesses, diagnostic/analysis laboratories, professional offices, bank branches, and so on, devices of high quality and reliability are demanded - characteristics that distinguish the whole of our production.

With regard to electronic devices for lifts, we work substantially in collaboration with other enterprises. We have working partnerships with them that date back more than twenty years and we are looked upon, by now, as trusted support partners.

With regard to infrared imaging cameras, these represent the latest line of production created by E. D. P. SRL and which currently includes two models created solely for medical use. The product is currently marketed Europe-wide and this line of production is currently undergoing expansion towards non-medical applications.
