Business Description
Gecgel Makine was founded in 1981 in Konya to manufacture machine tools. Since then, it has continuously developed itself and been open to innovations. By the 2000s, considering the then conditions, it brought its knowledge and experience to the automotive industry, starting producing braking equipment under the brand name GTS BRAKE for heavy-goods commercial vehicles. Today, it manufactures automatic and manual brake/slack adjusters and brake caliper repair kits in its facility with an open area of 6, 000 m2 and a closed area of 5, 200 m2 located in the Organized Industrial Zone II of Konya. Our company markets 40 percent of its products to government agencies, semi-trailer and axle manufacturers and spare part market and exports 60 percent to over 40 countries. We are planning to start OEM market activities by adding ISO/TS 16949 certificate to our existing ISO 9001:2008 and GOST-R certificates in 2013.
