State Enterprise KALUSH TEST EXPERIMENTAL PLANT OF THE SURFACE CHEMISTRY INSTITUTE OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF UKRAINE specializes in production of pyrogenic (fumed) silica (silicon dioxide) grades 60, 90, 120, 150, 175, 200, 300, 380, and hydrophobic aftertreated fumed silica. The enterprise was founded in 1977 by National Academy of Science of Ukraine. Availability of test experimental complex enables us to carry out research and to introduce the technical developments in the field of special ultra dispersed nonorganic substances. Our product is used for: - densification and thixotropy of liquids, lubricants, paints, lacquers; - intensification of physical and mechanical properties of elastomers and plastics; - increasing of powder fluidity and storage stability; - giving hydrophobic property to materials; - creation of high-performance catalysts and active matters carrier; - improvement of the dielectric qualities of insulating materials; - increasing of the heat resistance of polymer and rubber compositions; - production of the high-clean silicates; - increasing of the defoaming efficiency.
