With its inception in year 2002, MC Devices, resides in Shenzhen , China , is a mixed signal IC design house focusing on consumer electronics IC components. The Company was founded by a group of oversea Chinese experienced IC professionals, who had been educated at top-notched engineering and business universities in USA and Canada , brought back to China with many years of in-depth design/marketing/business knowledge. The company was originally planed to reside and operate in Andover , Massachusetts in US. After visiting a dozen of OEM/ODM companies located in Guangdong province of China, Jack Yuan, the key founder of MCD, discovered that up to 95% of mixed signal ICs used by thousands of OEM/ODMs were imported from Japan, US or Europe; and most of these ICs could be easily re-developed with newer and more advanced processes and foundry technology, which would significantly lower the cost. China , world&＃039;s No.1 IC market, imports up to 95% of ICs it consumes each year. Consequently, Shenzhen was chosen as the base for the Company in order to team-up closely with first line OEM/ODM partners and gain immediate direct access to the end market.
