MediVed is a research based advanced medical devices company based in Bangalore (India), focussed at making world class medical devices for emerging markets. MediVed makes advanced active implantable medical devices, and is 1 of very few companies in the world which owns the technology for cardiac pacemaker devices. We have acquired the pacemaker technology and business from CCC Del Uruguay, a 40 year old South- American medical devices R&D company and pioneer in this field. MediVeds STELLAR range of pacemakers are CE approved and have an impressive clinical safety record. MediVed has presently partnered with OSCOR inc.(USA) for leads which are both FDA as well as CE approved. MediVeds plant at Whitefield, Bangalore (India) is vertically integrated and is built to be compliant with ISO 13485 standards. We are also putting in place a significant R&D programme to develop next generation implantable medical devices, focussed on making advanced therapy available at affordable prices for emerging markets. MediVed believes that the technical competence that it brings into table with collaboration from CCC medical devices for the implantable medical devices field is the only one of its kind outside the US and the Western Europe.
