Business Description
N.F. String and Son, Inc. is a third generation family business with a diverse evolution since our modest beginnings in 1929.
What started as a coin machine repair business for financial institutions, 80 years ago, has evolved into a manufacturing corporation with multiple divisions catering to a variety of industries. Our corporation accounts for 28 patents to date.
Our corporate structure includes a paper division, coin division, and our own off- site machine shop to support internal manufacturing needs.
For many years we have supplied retailers, the food service industry and the financial industry with a variety of paper related products both wholesale and retail.
N.F. String & Son, Inc is located in Allison Hill, the heart of the city, in Harrisburg PA. Our inner city presence has been instrumental in revitalizing a blighted part of the city.
Many of N.F. String & Son 50+ employees come from the area, drawn by steady work and benefits that include free health insurance.
As for our vendors, we believe in promoting American industry and consistently look for suppliers and vendors from the region. We firmly believe in Made in the U.S.A.
