In 1978, our company was the first in the world to initiate the development and sales of disposable acupuncture needles for Acupuncture Medicine, a medicine which has been cultivated by eternal history and human wisdom. Since then, we have consistently pursued the managerial philosophy of modernizing acupuncture, or more specifically, "Contributing to the Actualization of Safe and Effective Acupuncture Medicine."Thanks to the support of our customers, we are commemorating our thirtieth year of business (June, 2008). We humbly offer our sincerest gratitude to all who have walked this road with us.Globalization and changes in the medical environment in recent years have been rapidly transforming the industrial structure into a new stage. While these transformations have been taking place, we have been carrying out operations with a policy of "sensibility", in which employees consider "further market penetration", and "all employees are encouraged to become involved in our sales".With this new management philosophy, we would like to extend even more effort in the acupuncture needle business by making improvements and modifications, and reducing costs for highly safe merchandise that assures sterility. Moreover, we would like to develop or provide: "products people love that are easily accessible"; products that can enable people to live healthily; and related practice methods from the perspective of treating "Mibyo (pre-disease conditions)". Seirin continues to maintain the objective of conducting "vital and participatory management", whereby all employees are encouraged to contribute to the company in accordance with this new environment.
