Socio-Economic Research & Development Organisation

SERDO is a non-political, non-religious, not-for-profit organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 by the Registrar of Societies, NCT of Delhi vide registration No. S/24963 of 1993. Its focused areas are surveys, studies, and research on socio-economic aspects. Since its establishment in 1993, it has carried out several studies on different subjects/programs sponsored by the Government of India, the State Government, and International agencies. It is empaneled as a National Level Monitor (NLM) with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India since 2012. In the process of monitoring and evaluation, assigned by the Ministry of Rural Development, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, it has covered remotest parts of almost all states of the country.
