Summit Strapping Corporation

Sekisui Jushi Philippines Group was incorporated on October 2, 1996 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sekisui Jushi Corporation and is located at Lot 11, Phase II, Carmelray Industrial Park 1, Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna. The name of the company was changed to Summit Strapping Corporation on September 6, 1999. The company was reorganized as a result of the joint venture between Sekisui Jushi Corporation (60%) and Ube Nitto Kasei Co. (40%) which took effect on February 29, 2000. Summit Strapping Corporation is engaged in the manufacture and sales of Polypropylene strapping band. Sekisui Jushi Philippines Group was established and purchase Solar Battery Division from Summit Strapping Corp on December 10, 1999. On April 1, 2007, Summit Strapping Corporation (SSC) was owned 100% by Sekisui Jushi Corporation located in Japan, the world’s largest embossed strap producer. Sekisui Jushi Philippines Group, lives up to its corporate slogan “Creation of new Values”, through the discovery of new materials and the compounding of plastics with other materials such as metals, textile, woods and glass fiber. Through original technology and commitment to quality, the company has developed many high-value-added products and specialty product and has grown to its manufacturing enterprise with a wide range of product lines that include consumer goods and home appliances as well as commercial products.
