W&W Studio was established in 1998 by my father Wu Xiaoping, with his leading, produces finer handmade violins, viola as well as cello in make of high quality materials.
Woods:
Front: Domestic wood material originates make of northeastern of China or Sinkiang spruce. Import wood originates make of Alps spruce.
Back: Domestic wood material originates make of maples in northeastern of China, Sichun, Yun'nan provinces. Import wood material originates make of maples in Bosnian, Germany or France.
We apply ourselves to make violin/ viola/ cello by implementing professional and scientific technics completely by hand ensuring the perfect resonance and precise timbre.
W&W using theo oil varnish or W&W special confected varnish to paint violin/ viola/ cello to guarantees the perfect resonance and precise timbre.
W&W violin has grained reputations in among of musicians in the world, they are includes: Maestro KuangLong Cheng, the virtuoso violinist who was the first-violin chair in Holland Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; Wichman, the Germany master violin maker. W&W violin is also selected for performing in New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Mexico National Symphony Orchestra, Argentina National Symphony Orchestra, Malaysia National Symphony Orchestra, Singapore National Symphony Orchestra etc.
The medium grade and distressed medium grade violins are especially popular in Europe.
We mainly produces the violin models of Stradivari 1702, 1715, 1716, 1721, Guarneri 1742, 1743 Cannon and ole bull model 1744, as well as copies the indicated models as long as the parameters could be obtained.
