Zhejiang Garden Biochemical is the world&＃039;s largest Vitamin D3 manufacture, which hold a market share of about 70%, in the year of 2006, we start to build our own cholesterol plant in Dongyang city(the most important raw material for Vitamin D3), In end of 2008, our commecial production of Cholesterol is very successful, the capacity of 2009 is as follows: Lanolin alcohol:700MT/Year; lanolin fatty acid: 2500mt/year; Cholesterol:200MT/Year; while our designed capacity for Lanolin alcohol is 1400-1500MT/Year and Cholesterol capacity is 400MT/Year. The new plant is dedicated to become the word&＃039;s largest cholesterol plant, which is an important of our value chain, part of the cholesterol of this plant is for our own use(manufacturing vitamin D3), the others are for sales to other D3 manufactures and cosmetics industerial. In the other city of Hangzhou, we have build a plant as well, which is set to product the lanolin and lanolin derivatives, the processing capacity of wool grease is about 5000mt/year.
